What is Camp Autism Inc.?
It is a stress free camp for families
who have children with Autism Spectrum Disorders ..........
If you wish to join us, this is how to come along to a fantastic camp weekend away:
1. Register your interest for the camp via email to campautismvic@gmail.com- please include your contact details, the number of adults and children you wish to book for.
2. Fill in the registration form below and email or post (details here).
3. You need to book directly with the venue with the type of accommodation that best suits your family's needs and budget, whether that is cabin, caravan or camping site. Mention CAMP AUTISM for your group discount. If the venue is fully booked and you miss out, you will also go onto a waiting list.
**Please also take note of the camp's cancellation policies as they vary from venue to venue. Our group bookings mean that we are not always entitled to the same conditions and refunds as for a single booking. Double check and ask for a copy in writing if you are unsure. If you cannot come for some reason, let me know first as we may have a waiting list and can probably find another family, with a reasonable amount of notice, to fill your spot.
We will email you an itinerary. The itinerary (which is also posted here) may change due to numbers and ages of children attending. We will organise and provide games and activities, along with a Saturday night BBQ, at no charge to you; this is all provided by our fundraising. We have no waiting lists..... just lots of waiting to catch up with our new friends!
Following the Camp Autism AGM on 17/4/2012, in Victoria our camps will be changing from 2013 to operate as an informal social network instead of its present format. More details to be posted as they are finalised.
